ESPN Hub for Windows Phone Featured in New Nokia Commercial

Posted by Administrator – July 13, 2012

Nokia reports the app is a home run:

App usage has increased 27% week on week since launch and has received numerous positive reviews from various major media outlets. (For example: This one.)

ESPN Sports Hub on Windows Phone

ESPN Sports Hub for Windows Phone was recently featured in a Nokia commercial with John Kruk, baseball analyst for ESPN and former MLB player. Naturally we love to see our work on the big screen. As Vectorform Associate Creative Director Ken Disbennett describes,

“It is great to see this Windows Phone spot. When designing the ESPN application one of our main goals was to elevate the sport fanatic’s experience to the next level. This commercial really captures the essence of that vision.”

Even John Kruk is a fan of the new Lumia 900.

Uniquely Nokia

Featured in Engadget late last year, the ESPN Hub is a part of a “uniquely Nokia” experience. The ESPN Hub provides real time score updates and quick access to news, videos, and social content immediately upon launching the app, truly existing as “…The smartphone for the sports fan.”

Over the last few months, Vectorform has delivered a series of key updates to the ESPN Sports Hub, adding support for Golf and the Olympics, which have further increased the appeal of the Lumia 900 to the sports-minded crowd.

If you’re like us, you don’t like missing out. Find out more about the ESPN app, free exclusively for Nokia Lumia phones.
